Steaming Lobster and Clams
This is a meal fit to serve for a special occasion. But we enjoyed it just as much last week on a regular day.
I sauted diced sweet onions, added diced tomatoes, cream and white wine, salt and green onions. Cooked to a boil, brought down to a simmer and added the clams, cooking them until they opened.
My mom placed a large double broiler on the stove with hot water for the lobster. We had 4 lobsters and steamed for 15 minutes. They turn beautifully bright red when their ready.
We served immediately with melted butter for dipping.
