Baked Caramel Apples


Remove core from apple from top (leave bottom in tact.) Place 8 apples in casserole dish with 1/2 cup water. Lightly dash ground cinnamon and sugar on top and place in 400 degree oven for an hour. Fill each apple's core with caramel and drizzle some on the outsides in a bowl. Top with a dollop of sour cream.
I make caramel with 1/2 stick butter, small can evaporated milk, 1/3 cup brown sugar and 2 tsp vanilla.
